First Impression Ministry

The First Impression Ministry is just that, the first impression people get when they enter Huntington Woods Lutheran Church. The First Impression Ministry is composed primarily of GREETERS and USHERS. We do all we can as a church to create an inviting and welcoming atmosphere that engages people and points them to Jesus. If you would like to be a Greeter or Usher, please contact the Church Office.

• GREETERS play the important role of providing the first welcome to our church by offering a kind word or smile. If you are a “people person” and you have the gift of hospitality, this is the ministry for you!
• USHER TEAMS serve during worship services in various ways, including handing out bulletins, helping worshippers with seating, helping with the offering, and providing an orderly system for Communion distribution.
